NEW! Revlon Colourstay Makeup

I decided to pick up the NEW Revlon Colourstay Foundation yesterday after work since Chemist Warehouse was still having the 1/2 price sale on their store items so I wanted to take advantage! I hate how we Aussie's have to pay an arm and a leg for make up, it's honestly ridiculous!

 According to Revlon
Price: AUS$34.95
New features: easy to use pump,  effective time release technology (no need for touch-ups for 24hours) and a higher SPF (not too sure what it was before) - SPF 15.
Coverage: medium to full coverage
Colour range: 12 shades
Longevity: claims to stay on for 24 hours (but honestly, who will wear their make up for that long?)
Types: Normal/Dry and Combination/Oily

I originally wanted to pick it up in the shade "Natural Tan", but they didn't have it in the combination/oily skin formula, so I decided to stick with the shade "True Beige", which is what I used in the old Colourstay foundation. I noticed when I swatched the shades in both formulas that the normal/dry shades are a lot more yellow toned compared to the combination/oily formula, which are a lot more pink! I personally have yellow undertones, but the "True Beige" in the combination/oily formula isn't too bad, but I will definitely see how I go with this shade and review it further.

First impression of the foundation is that I love the new bottle and pump! It's easy to use and so much more effective, rather than pouring the foundation and losing a lot of product. In regards to the actual formula, from the swatch, it seems to be exactly the same as the old formula.

320 True Beige
New easy to use pump
That's it for now guys! . . .Review will be in a couple of weeks

Dry Shampoo "Batiste"

Since Chemist Warehouse was still having their 1/2 price sale on their items, I decided to drop by after work yesterday afternoon. I've been watching a lot of beauty guru's rave about dry shampoos and the main brand I've heard them review about is the Batiste Dry Shampoos. After contemplating on whether or not I should purchase it, I decided to jump on the bandwagon and give it a go. At first I was a bit sceptical on the idea of dry shampoos, but I've watched many reviews and the difference I've noticed in other people's before and afters definitely sold me. Therefore I took advantage of Chemist Warehouses' 1/2 price sale. In stores the Batiste Dry Shampoos retail for AUS$9.95 and I purchased it for AUS$4.99.

As far as I can recall, they have about 8 fragrances to choose from and to view their range click here. I originally wanted to purchase the "Dark & Deep Brown" shampoo, which has the brown tint so that it blends with my hair colour, however Chemist Warehouse did not stock that, which is why I purchased the "Tropical" shampoo, which is suppose to smell like coconut and all exotic like. I can personally smell the coconut but it has that artificial scent, which I don't like very much. I honestly thought that it was going to have a fruity sort of scent to it.

All bottles come in a 150ml cannister, however I've seen the "Blush" shampoo come in a 50ml, which is great for travel (not too sure if the other scents come in the travel size). I'm not going to review this product as of yet just because I haven't owned it for a long time in order to review it's performance. I'm hoping this product will give me that "I showered today" look for a couple days until I hold off wetting my hair. I also hope that it doesn't dry out and leave white visible "dandruff" like specs in my hair (which I've heard it actually do).

 It claims to give
- clean hair and fresh hair full of
- body and texture
So,

Have you tried other Bastiste Dry Shampoos before? Do you like it? Tried other brands before? What other brands should I try? Leave me a comment and let me know if you like it or not OR if you've tried better!

Til next time guys

DOTTI BASICS FOR $5

BARDOT HAUL & a ZARA gift

When two of my closest mates went to Macquarie Shopping Centre we did a little bit of shopping at Bardot and thought I'd show you what I picked up. Looking at the items now, I just realised that they all fall in the neutral category . . . seriously, they're all black! So much for adding colour to my wardrobe. Anyways I hope you enjoy my haul . . . definitely check out Bardot because they seem to always have sales.
Assasin Cardi AUS$89.95 (front on picture: displays the waterfall collar front and the contrast in material)
A little close up of the material, black and white freckled polyester
A close up of the leather look full length sleeve

Asher Stripe Cardi $89.95 (front shows the contrast stripes and its large drape collar)
Just a close up of the material and the contrast stripes
Leatherette Racer Peplum $79.95 BUT i picked it up on sale for $40
A close up of the contrast in material
Forgot the name of this top and I can't seem to find it on the Bardot website but it's just a plain simple racer back tank top with a waterfall style hemline. Picked this up on sale for $30 and I think it was originally $49.95
A close up of the material, it's quite a thin material, which I think will be best for layering up your outfit
My went went to visit her sister (my aunty) in Melbourne a few days ago and she came back with a little gift from ZARA and here it is (just in time for winter! I can' wait to style this cosy woolly cardigan)
Not too sure what the style name of the cardigan is (apologies). This is what the cardigan looks like with the buttons closed. The price tag was still attached when I received it and from memory I think it retails for about $89.95, which is such a steal for a warm woolen cardigan.
What the cardigan looks like with it open
This post looks really sad, just because the of the lack of colour! That's okay though because the clothing items are awesome and they all fit so well. I can't wait t style these items and put together outfits to mix and match. I hope you guys enjoyed this little haul and definitely check out your nearest Bardot store to browse through their sale items and Winter stock items.

Love you guys

xoxo

Glasshouse Fragrances

If you haven't heard about these candles before then let me tell you now, that if you're in the hunt for amazing candles that will last you a very long time and that smell amazing then go and check out Glasshouse Fragrances! I purchase mine from Peter Alexander for about AUS$34.95. I have also seen them sold at David Jones as well and I think for the same price too. It is an Australian based company, which I think is great because supporting one of our own is pretty cool. They also have a website in which you can check out here.

They sell candles, diffusers, hand creme, body bars and fragrances, however I've only tried their Candles and can only comment about them! And to be straight to the point, I LOVE THEM! My favourite scent from the very beginning is "Vanilla Noir", however I think it has been discontinued at Peter Alexander because everytime I have visited the store, they seem to never have them in stock, which is really disappointing because it is an amazing scent!

The last time I visited Peter Alexander however, they did have another candle that smelt quite similar to Vanilla Noir and it is TAHAA - Vanilla Caramel. My boyfriend was nice enough to purchase this for me, because he knew how I was yearning for the Vanilla Noir candle! This scent is perfect for winter, it makes me feel so warm and cosy inside (& he loves it too!). The fragrance family this candle falls under is: Garmound.

I also own, another Glasshouse Frangrance candle in MARSEILLE - Gardenia, which was gifted to me by my awesome mother. However, I am not so much in love with this scent! It definitely smells exactly like Gardenia's, however I am not a big fan of floral notes.

These candles have a burn time of 80 hours, which I think is more than other candles burn for. Remember not to burn your candles for more than 4hours at a time...just a little tip from Glasshouse Fragrances. They are made of pure wax and cotton wicks, which are non toxic and lead free!!!

So if you're in the hunt for some awesome candles, check out Glasshouse Fragrances and have yourself a cosy warm winter...

Love you guys

xoxo

every girl needs a blue box

Hey bloggers! So I've recently been on a major hunt for the perfect infinity ring and I have found the most gorgeous infinity ring but it is just too damn expensive (well for me anyways). I was browsing on the Tiffany & Co website late last night and I came across the ring, and to my astonishment I yelled out "Babe!!! I found the ring!" Hahahahaa I was soooo excited and I couldn't contain myself! However the price brought down that excitement right down! So here's the ring (it may not look all that to some people, but I love it, it's nice and simple and it 'll match one of my tattoos

This ring is called the "Tiffany Infinity Ring" in platinum with diamonds! I really want this so bad, but it retails for AUS$3,100. If only I had that money and more to spare! . . . I mean don't we all!

While I was browsing the Tiffany & Co. website I also came across this gorgeous butterfly ring and if you know me well enough, then you would know that I love butterflies ever since I watch "A Walk to Remember" and also because Mariah Carey loves butterflies too. I've seen many butterfly rings before but this one is perfect!

This ring is called the "Tiffany Enchanted Butterfly Ring" in platinum with diamonds. However again, the pricetag is just crazy! This retails for AUS$3,250. It is absolutely stunning and the size of the butterfly is just perfect and what I've been looking for.

What are your favourite finds on the Tiffany & Co. website? Any of you own anything Tiffany & Co.? Do share!

Love you guys,

Traffic!

I am the most impatient person when it comes to traffic! Especially when I'm hungry!
My boyfriend and I are on the way to the city right now and the Traffic along Parramatta Road is so freaking bad! Cars are weaving in and out, slow bloody drivers, tailgating douche's OMG! But yes, just thought I'd have a little rant on here whilst being entertained by my aggro boyfriend getting annoyed at other drivers!!!
